Xpulse 210 is Hero’s small-capacity adventure motorcycle with a 21-inch front wheel, long suspension travel and a liquid-cooled 210 cc engine. The official specifications distinguish Base and Pro equipment. It is particularly important to separate suspension travel from ground clearance, and to check the ABS configuration of the exact motorcycle being quoted.

A different engine from the 200
The 210 cc unit uses liquid cooling and a DOHC four-valve layout. Hero quotes 24.6 PS and 20.7 Nm, with the power peak at 9,250 rpm. Do not mix these figures with those of the separate Xpulse 200 4V. The six-speed transmission and assist/slipper clutch are part of the 210’s specification, so any comparison should name the model rather than simply say Xpulse.
Why the wheel sizes matter
A 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel distinguish the Xpulse from most road-focused commuters. The tyre sizes are 90/90-21 and 120/80-18, fitted to spoke wheels. Before a long journey, confirm the supplied tyre construction and repair procedure in the owner’s manual. Spoke appearance alone does not establish whether a wheel-and-tyre combination can operate without an inner tube.
Travel is not clearance
The front suspension has 210 mm of travel and the rear has 205 mm. Ground clearance is separately listed at 220 mm. Suspension travel describes wheel movement; clearance describes the space below the motorcycle under the stated measurement condition. With luggage or a pillion, suspension compression changes the available space, making preload setup and the permitted load important for rough-road trips.
Base and Pro safety equipment
Hero’s specification table lists single-channel ABS for Base and dual-channel ABS for the top version, with three ABS modes. It also separates a 4.2-inch LCD from a 4.2-inch TFT. These differences affect the decision more than paint alone. Ask the dealer to demonstrate ABS-mode selection on the actual unit, and learn which settings are intended for public-road use.
Seat height and parking
The 830 mm seat height deserves an actual seated test, especially for riders moving from a low commuter. Kerb mass is 168 kg for Base and 170 kg for Pro. Try balancing the motorcycle on uneven ground with riding boots, then check handlebar reach when standing on the footrests. A specification sheet cannot determine whether the rider feels secure at walking pace.
Touring and price planning
The 13-litre fuel tank is a capacity figure, not a verified touring range. Include fuel stops, luggage weight and the availability of model-specific consumables when planning a trip. For price comparison, request Base and Pro quotations from the same city on the same date, with insurance coverage and accessories held constant. No universal state-wise on-road price has been asserted here.
